“My goal is to have more Black women in positions of power — happier and thriving!”

About our Founder,
Sabrina Madison
After working a traditional 9-5 since forever, I left my well-paying job to work full-time for Black women and families. I quickly became aware that there was nothing in the Midwest specifically devoted to the professional development of Black women. Yet Black women are the fastest growing group of female entrepreneurs! They shift culture, set trends, embrace innovation, and drive economic gains.
In 2016, I organized the first Black Women’s Leadership Conference, centered on what Black women need, from the Black women’s perspective. It was so successful, that I launched the Black Business Expo and the Black Excellence Youth Conference (BEYC). In 2017, I launched the Progress Center for Black Women, with the mission to create more Black women who are leaders, doers, and owners! This conference is open to women at every career level — from job seekers to CEOs.
