What is the Black Women’s Leadership Conference?

Should I seek sponsorship from my employer?
Yes, we think you should. Each year the number of employers who support their employees attending this conference continues to grow.
The Black Women’s Leadership Conference is a career development and leadership conference that adds value to you and your company. To assist you in getting your employer’s approval and sponsorship we have provided a Letter to Your Employer. In addition, if you need a Tax ID# or to be invoiced, please email hello@centerforblackwomen.org.
What does the registration fee include?
The registration fee includes attendance for both days, conference workbook, complimentary professional headshot, a light breakfast and lunch.
What is the refund policy?
A refund of all registration fees minus a $10 processing fee will be made within 7-10 business days of cancellation. No refunds will be issued after March 15, 2019.
Are group discounts available?
Yes, discounts are available for groups of at least 5. To qualify for the discount, select a minimum of 5 tickets at checkout. For more information on group discounts send an email to hello@centerforblackwomen.org.
When is the registration deadline?
Registration closes the evening of Wednesday, May 1, 2019. We suggest registering as soon as possible.
Are there any special promotions?
Yes! Each ticket buyer will be entered into a drawing for a mini wardrobe makeover. (You must be available a week prior to the event to go shopping here in Madison.)
Do you offer scholarships to attend the Black Women’s Leadership Conference?
If you’re currently employed, we highly encourage you to seek sponsorship from your employer. Please do not hesitate to contact us to assist you in having this conversation to get their support.
